The Danish progressive rock band Lonely 2 is thrilled to announce the release of their debut EP “Origin“, which will be available on all digital platforms on December 2nd

“Origin” is a combination of progressive heavy rock combined with classical elements.

The project is produced, mixed and mastered by Kim Nielsen.
The music was recorded and written by
Cæcilie Gro Hansen and Kim Nielsen. The EP includes four tracks.

In the following paragraph, Kim Nielsen explains the band’s creative approach and their process of working with different music genres on the EP “Origin”:

“We used many different music genres, when we produced a track on this EP. Some of the genres we experimented in and used is for example jazz, classic, pop, rock blues, and classic rock, just to name a few. The different genres helped us expanding the musical palette on this EP”.

About Lonely 2: 

Lonely 2 consists of the lead singer and lyricist Cæcilie Gro Hansen and the composer and guitarist Kim Nielsen. The band was founded in 2019 in Denmark.

Creating this EP was a process that meant a lot to the vocalist, Cæcilie, who has dreamt of producing this album for years:

“Working on this album has definitely been a therapeutic process for me. I dug deeper down to parts of myself I hadn’t yet fully discovered, and I hope people can feel that… likewise I just hope people will enjoy the music, and if it resonates and connects with some people, it’s more than I could ever dream of”.
